Two Proctor & Gamble directors retire

CINCINNATI — Two longtime members recently retired from Proctor & Gamble Company''s board of directors, according to the Business Courier of Cincinnati.
Charles Lee and Dr. Ralph Snyderman, both of whom officially retired on April 19, reached the customary board retirement age of 70 , the story stated.
Lee, a director since 1994, chaired the Audit Committee and was a member of the Compensation and Leadership Development Committee, the story noted.
Snyderman, who joined the board in 1995, chaired the Innovation and Technology Committee and was a member of the Audit Committee, the story added.
Bob McDonald, chairman, president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Proctor & Gamble, said: "Chuck and Ralph have served P&G’s board with distinction for more than 15 years. Their insights, counsel and leadership have been invaluable."
According to the release, Director Patricia Woertz will take over as chair of the Audit Committee, and Director Scott Cook will chair the Innovation and Technology Committee.
