GRANBYS, CT — A tree planting ceremony was held in honor of Aden Clark, a custodian who passed away unexpectedly last month, according to the Gransby Patch.

At the ceremony Clark, the former head custodian at F.M. Kearns School, was described as a gentle giant who loved to ride his motorcycle and always had a kind word for the children and staff, the article stated.

According to the article, Clark had worked in the district for 30 years before passing away on September 4, at the age of 57.

To honor Clark''s numerous years and contributions, the Kearns students and staff donated a hydrangea tree, which has been planted just outside the school, the article noted.
