NORWALK, CT — Police have charged a custodian with pilfering hundreds of watches totaling nearly $250,000 dollars, according to the Stamford Advocate.
Cristian Giraldo-Acosta, 32, was arrested on Monday and charged with first-degree larceny, the article stated.
According to the article, a representative for Sequel International, where Girald-Acosta was a custodian, approached the police in August with a report of nearly $30,000 in stolen watches at the beginning of the summer.
The company set-up surveillance cameras and caught the alleged thief, a custodian from Stan-Mar Cleaning Company, on tape, the article noted.
