Three-year contract approved

WARWICK, CT — The Warwick Independent School Employees Union (WISE) has signed an agreement after nearly five years without a contract, according to The Providence Journal.

The contract will cover last year, this year and the next budget year, which is fiscal year 2013, the article stated.

According to the article, WISE members will be entitled to a two-percent pay raise this year, a one-percent raise in September 2012 and one-percent raise in February 2013.

The contract requires the union membership to now pay 20 percent of their health insurance premiums, the article noted.
