Thieving cleaner caught in police sting

DELRAN, NJ — A woman working for Julie & Cindy''s House Cleaning was arrested yesterday and charged with one count of third-degree theft following a sting operation by the Cinnaminson Police Department, according to the Burlington County Times.
Cindy Getsinger was suspected of wrongdoing after a homeowner for whom she cleaned reported money missing, the story stated.
In response to the suspicion, investigators set up several hidden cameras in the home and recorded Getsinger removing two of the five $50 bills that were left out as bait, the story noted.
According to the story, the money was recovered when Getsinger, who later admitted to stealing as much as $1,000 from the victim over a period of six to seven months, was arrested.
Getsinger is being held in the Burlington County Minimum Security Facility on $5,000 bail, the story added.
