The Jewish Guild for the Blind appoints director of building services

NEW YORK — Ernest H. Greene, MBA, has been appointed director of building services at The Jewish Guild for the Blind, according to a press release.
He will be responsible for maintenance, general services, cafeteria, transportation, construction projects and lease negotiations at all Guild sites: Albany, Buffalo, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Melville, Niagara Falls, White Plains and Yonkers, the release stated.
Greene has extensive experience with all aspects of facilities management, having previously held the positions of vice president, facilities and property management for Safe Horizon in New York City and director of facilities management for Trinitas Hospital in Elizabeth, New Jersey, the release noted.
According to the release, The Jewish Guild for the Blind, one of the nation''s foremost not-for-profit vision health care agencies, has been serving blind, visually impaired and multi-disabled children, adults and the elderly since 1914.
