The great wipe hype

March 31, 2011

KIRKSVILLE, MO — Despite being provided toilet paper by the university, one Truman State University student prefers to shell out a little extra for store-bought brands, according to the Truman Index.

"Honestly I feel like it''s just non-absorbent, and then it''s rough," said Ram Golan, a junior at Truman.

"So it''s just the two worst combinations. It''s just uncomfortable and unpleasant," Golan added.

According to Facilities Co-Supervisor Tim Maize, the toilet paper is ordered through a bidding process: The current provider is Industrial Soap.

Not all students have a problem with the university provided toilet paper, however, often stealing extra rolls that are left out or taking rolls from the dispensers, the article noted.
