Tennant Company wins Telly Award for ec-H2O™ video
July 23, 2009
MINNEAPOLIS — Tennant Company proudly announces that an animation video featuring its ec-H2O™ technology has won a Bronze Telly Award in the "Effective Use of Animation" category, according to a press release.
According to the release, the video, entitled "ec-H2O — How it Works," was produced by Minneapolis-based Studio 23 in conjunction with Tennant''s Product Marketing department.
The ec-H2O technology, which works by unlocking the vast amounts of energy stored in water molecules, delivers proven cleaning results without the negative environmental and health concerns associated with producing, packaging, transporting, using and disposing of traditional cleaning chemicals, the story stated.
Melissa Engelhart, director of global business marketing with Tennant Company, said: "Winning a Telly Award validates our commitment to excellence in messaging and communication and our belief that animation is a successful means of simply explaining how ec-H2O technology works. We are thrilled that our ec-H2O animation video, and, in essence, our marketing department, has been recognized with this honor."
The electrically charged water attacks the dirt, breaks it into smaller particles and suspends it off the floor’s surface — enabling the scrubber’s pads or brushes to easily remove the soil, the story noted.
In this process, 100 percent of the water used reverts to neutral tap water within 45 seconds and can be handled and disposed of safely, the story added.
The Telly Awards, which honor the best local, regional and cable television commercials, programs, video and film productions and works created for the Internet, are judged by top advertising and production professionals, each of whom is a past Telly Award winner.
