Teena Shouse awarded an IFMA Chairman Citation

FAIRFAX, VA — Teena Shouse was recently awarded an International Facility Management Association (IFMA) Chairman Citation for her contribution in the advancement of the Balanced Scorecard Methodology and practice into IFMA’s strategic planning process, according to a press release.

Shouse She was also acknowledged for providing the vision and collaborative environment that enabled and assisted IFMA’s Board of Directors to see, think and act more strategically, the release stated.

According to the release, Shouse will be formally recognized at IFMA’s World Workplace Awards of Excellence Banquet on October 9, 2009.

Shouse, a senior facility management consultant with Facility Engineering Associates (FEA), currently serves on the FM Global Board of Directors, is an adjunct professor at the University of Kansas and developed several IFMA courses over the past decade, the release noted.

Shouse''s expertise is in facility management including sustainability, capital planning and budgeting, operations and maintenance, quality development, sourcing and contract governance of outsourced partner and program/process standardization, the release added.
