Students join to help school custodian

FLUSHING, MI — When a Mid-Michigan school employee lost her home to fire, the students she helps every day stepped in to help, according to WRJT-TV.
Mary Moore''s second home is Flushing''s Springview Elementary, where she has worked as a custodian for nearly 26 years, the article noted.
Moore found out just how special she is to the students at Springview when fire destroyed her home, the article stated.
"The children told me they were giving me their tooth fairy money and that they were going to help me get back on feet," Moore said.
According to the article, students, their parents and the school faculty are raising money to help her rebuild her life.
They say they can help buy the building materials and help rebuild the house, the article added.
