BISBEE, AZ - Two clerks in a small town in Arizona were recently Spring Cleaning at the Cochise County courthouse when they came across inquest documents from the OK Corral, according to the
Post Chronicle.
According to the article, 36-page handwritten court reporter transcripts of eyewitness testimony to the famous 1881 gunfight were found.
The rare documents describe the fight in which three men in Tombstone, AZ, died after a gunfight, noted the article.
Thanks to the efforts of the cleaners, the documents have been entered into the State archives for safekeeping.
