PAISLEY, UK — The public restroom facilities at the Paisley Shopping Centre have once again received a five-star rating from the Loo of the Year awards, according to the Paisley Daily Express.
According to the story, the restrooms at Paisley Centre were refurbished five years ago, and the five-person cleaning staff was excited to also receive a gold award by Tidy Business Standards for its cleanliness.
Cleaning team Supervisor Kate Morrison said: "The judges came out to visit us in October and now we have found out that we have received a five-star rating again. We have very high standards here and all the girls take a pride in their work. We''ve got a great team."
In addition to strict standards for cleaning, the staff also uses unorthodox cleaning methods — like using fizzing candy to give the bathrooms a fruity aroma and Buckfast tonic wine to remove graffiti, the story added.
