School district settles custodial contract
WAUSAU, WI — Thanks to a contract extension, district custodians will see a 1.6 percent salary increase for the next two school years, according to the Wausau Daily Herald.
The Maintenance and Custodial Union has also agreed to pay 5.8 percent of their gross earnings into their pension packages, the article noted.
According to the article, district custodians have been working under a pay freeze for the past year.
