
According to the Examiner, there are 350 permanent staff members working in the 16 high schools and 89 elementary schools in the district, many working in a variety of roles.
Custodial Services Manager Susan Justus said: "They''re a lot more than cleaners, they are building operators. They have technical skills and a lot of the buildings'' operations center around computers. They are dealing with the children and dealing with the community."
Custodian Linda McGill said her favorite part about the job is the students, the Advance stated.
McGill said: "There is always one extra-special kid each year that becomes your shadow and follows you around and wants to know all about your job. There are a lot of memories of those kids."
