MADISON, NJ — The Madison school board took in to account public opinion about the option to outsource and decided in favor of the current custodial staffing arrangement, according to the Madison Eagle.
After hearing numerous complaints about the board''s proposal to contract with ARAMARK, the vote to approve a contract with district janitors was unanimous, the article stated.
According to the article, before an outpouring of criticism caused the board to reconsider, ARAMARK Management Services had been chosen to handle the custodial services for the 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 school years.
