Registration is open for SDA's Annual Meeting & Industry Convention

WASHINGTON — Registration is now open for the 2010 Soap and Detergent Association (SDA) Annual Meeting & Industry Convention January 26-30, 2010 at the Grande Lakes in Orlando, Florida, according to a press release.

Companies can qualify for an early bird registration discount of $100 by going to the Soap and Detergent Association''s website and clicking on the Convention headline by January 1, 2010, the release stated.

According to the release, registrants can receive a 5 percent room rebate if they make a guestroom reservation prior to November 22, 2009, and provide a non-refundable first and last night deposit at the time of reservation.

The theme of the 2010 Convention is "Embracing Change: Strategic Insights for the Cleaning Product Industry," the release noted.

Ernie Rosenberg, SDA president and chief executive officer (CEO), said: "More than ever, companies are looking to do business effectively and efficiently. At the SDA Convention, executives can meet with the industry''s leaders — customers and suppliers — in one place, at one time."

Highlights of the Convention will include: In-depth briefings on the major legislative, regulatory and technical issues affecting the domestic and global cleaning products industry; speeches by thought-provoking industry professionals; and a charity golf tournament, the release added.
