ProTeam Honors Sales Rep, Manufacturer Rep Agency of the Year
(LAS VEGAS, NEV.) Every year, ProTeam recognizes a rep group of the year and an outstanding sales representative at a ceremony during the ISSA/INTERCLEAN trade show. In 2011 in Las Vegas, ProTeam was pleased to name D.C. Brown, Inc. as the Larry Shideler Manufacturer Representative Agency of the Year and Erick Sapon of McConnell-Spadafora as the Mark Reimers Sales Representative of the Year. Both have earned this honor not only by posting consistent growth in sales, but by representing core ProTeam values and superior service to their customers.
Named for ProTeam’s founder, the Larry Shideler Manufacturer Representative Agency of the Year award celebrates innovation and reach in the cleaning industry. This year’s winner, D.C. Brown, Inc., has risen to the top of the market through exceptional business planning and execution. Headquartered in Minneapolis, Minn., they have excelled at educating their customer base in Minn., N.D., S.D., and western Wis. on the ProTeam method of cleaning for health and productivity.
The Mark Reimers Sales Representative of the Year is an award named after the late Mark Reimers, the original developer and longtime leader of ProTeam’s commercial sales organization. This award honors the year’s outstanding sales representative for ProTeam. In 2011, Erick Sapon’s extensive knowledge of ProTeam sales materials and sense of urgency set him apart from the pack.
Sapon started his company, Inter-Point Distribution Inc., 14 years ago after attending the ISSA show in Chicago. In November 2005 he and his colleague of 10 years, Nina Belanger, began working with McConnell Spadafora as sub-agents for Quebec and Eastern Canada. His focus on new products led to the first ProBlitz™ sale and great success with the new ProGuard Wet/Dry vacuum line.
