Procter & Gamble partner with CARE to donate precious resource
CINCINNATI — Procter and Gamble and CARE will provide 100 million liters of clean drinking water in Kenya and Ethiopia, supported by a $1 million grant from P&G, according to a press release.
The two organizations made the announcement last week on World Water Day, which took place on March 22, the release stated.
According to the release, Secretary of State Hilary Clinton hosted the event, and also announced P&G’s commitment to the newly formed U.S. Water Partnership, a public and private effort to unite and mobilize resources to address water challenges around the world.
