Powr-Flite awarded Seal of Approval for vacuum cleaners
November 2, 2010
FORT WORTH, TX — Powr-Flite Direct has announced that three of their vacuum cleaners have earned the Seal of Approval (SOA) designation from the Carpet and Rug Institute (CRI), according to a press release.
The Seal of Approval program tests and awards vacuum cleaners that meet the criteria for dust containments, which ensures that the machine has an advanced air filtration system to help protect indoor air quality and health, the release stated.
The vacuums also meet the SOA standards for soil removal, which certifies the vacuum cleaner effectively and thoroughly cleans carpets, removing deeply embedded soils, the release noted.
"We are placing more and more attention on cleaning to protect health," said Gary Pelphrey, general manager of Powr-Flite Direct.
"These vacuum cleaners are examples of this. They are machines that perform but do so without [negatively] impacting the environment," Pelphrey added.
