P&G Pro launches Food Safety Solutions program

Cincinnati, OH — Procter & Gamble Professional® announced the launch of a cleaning, sanitation and food safety program, "Food Safety Solutions," designed to reduce the risk of food-borne illnesses for foodservice employees and patrons, according to a press release.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), there are about 76 million cases of food-borne illness in the U.S. annually, with about 325,000 of those resulting in hospitalization, the release noted.
The program is based on four pillars — reliable products, employee training, compliance solutions and equipment and service — and is now available to foodservice operations nationwide, the release added.
