Organizational changes at Procter & Gamble

According to the release, Jemison will report to Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Bob McDonald as an officer on special assignment until his retirement.
McDonald said: "Steve Jemison has been an exceptional leader and attorney throughout his career at P&G. His impact at P&G is significant and he will be remembered."
McDonald also spoke highly of Majoras, saying: "Debbie is the right attorney and the right leader to guide P&G Legal into the future. She came to P&G after serving as Chairman of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission and she is one of the world''s preeminent global competition lawyers, a reputation she earned first as a partner at Jones Day and then as a senior official at the U.S. Department of Justice. She is also an extremely effective leader who has strengthened P&G''s litigation capabilities and helped to create a world-class compliance program for our company. P&G is very fortunate to have a chief legal officer of her caliber. She has my and the Board''s complete confidence and support."
Jemison worked at P&G for over 29 years, the release added.
