In health care, as elsewhere, the answer to that will depend on what is being cleaned and how it is being done.
I have seen cleaning times from 1,000 to 1,600 square feet per hour for an entire medical campus.
Occupancy level and emergency room (ER) admissions affect production rates.
ER and intensive-care units (ICU) may clean about three times slower than administration, and corridors will clean three times faster than patient rooms.
