Maintenance man hit in drive-by shooting

TOPEKA, KS — The maintenance man at the Oakbrook Apartment complex was an unintended victim of a drive-by shooting that occurred around 12:20 p.m. yesterday afternoon, according to WIBW-TV.
Saxby Mickler was working when the shooters opened fire on two pedestrians who fled the scene, the story stated.
One of the bullets struck Mickler in his left forearm, causing non life-threatening injuries, the story noted.
Several buildings in the apartment complex sustained damage from the shooting, but no other individuals were injured, the story added.
According to the story, the intended victims were never identified and the shooters in a maroon four-door sedan are still at large.
