Kimberly-Clark employees play Santa

December 16, 2011

TULSA, OK — Santa and his elves, a group of employees from Kimberly-Clark''s Jenks factory, made a special delivery to the children of Owen Elementary School, according to the Tulsa World.

"Have you all been good?" Santa asked a stunned gymnasium full of Owen students. "If you''re really good, today something really special is going to happen."

Students from Lindsay Bolliger''s prekindergarten class high-fived and thanked Santa as he called each one up to receive a gender-specific gift, the article stated.

According to the article, Santa''s visit to Owen Elementary School marked the seventh consecutive year and more than $40,000 worth of toys donated to local schools and children''s hospitals by Kimberly-Clark, which employs 400 people in Jenks.

"It is a core value of Kimberly-Clark to give back to the communities where we live and work," said mill manager Susan Bickert.

"There are so many schools and organizations in need. This program allows so many people to get involved and contribute in whatever way they can," Bickert added.
