Camp Ho Mita Koda is a residential camp for children ages 6-15 who have Type 1 diabetes. It is located on 75 wooded acres in Newbury, Ohio, just 25 miles east of Cleveland.
Responsibilities include: Sweeping dining hall floor and cleaning tables and benches after breakfast and lunch, spot cleaning walls and spills on floor, cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms and common touch surfaces daily and collecting trash daily from receptacles throughout camp and empty into dumpster.
The Camp Custodian must be available for the entire length of the camp program, including staff orientation week (June 13-18), Open House (June 20), Session 1 (June 21-June 25), Mini Camp (June 27), Session 2 (June 28-July 2), Session 3 (July 5-July 16), Session 4 (July 19-July 30), Session 5 (August 2-August 4) and Type 2 Camp (August 9-13).
Some weekend and evening hours may be required.
