Yolanda Hallom, a janitor at
Roswell B. Mason Elementary School, claims that "an agent and/or servant" of the Chicago Board of Education and/or Chicago Public Schools was carrying a portable heater/fan that was dropped on her foot, the story stated.
Hallom alleges the defendants "carelessly and negligently dropped a heavy item" on her foot on November 14, 2008, the story noted.
Hallom''s husband, Tracy, is also suing for loss of consortium, the story added.
