Janitor accused of bullying
SEATTLE — An elementary school janitor has been accused of bullying and threatening young students at Leschi Elementary School, according to KIRO-TV.
Several parents have lodged formal complaints with the district and police; yet, parents said little has been done to resolve their concerns, the article stated.
According to the article, a KIRO investigation found evidence of Chester Harris grabbing children in a rough manner and intimidating them.
A criminal background check on Harris shows he has a 2002 theft conviction, the article noted.
He''s also been arrested and charged with six other crimes since 1997 without conviction: An alcohol offense involving a minor, harassment, obstruction, failure to render assistant, possession of marijuana and fourth-degree domestic violence assault, the article added.
