Ivey and Coastwide offer 'Sustainable Cleaning Chemistry' seminar

ALBANY, OR — Ivey''s Training and Consulting Services is partnering with Coastwide Laboratories to present a half-day seminar entitled "Sustainable Cleaning Chemistry" and an introduction of the Cleaning Management Institute (CMI) Certification Training for Custodial Technicians.

The seminar will take place Tuesday, March 9 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Linn County Fair Grounds in Albany, Oregon and is designed to further expand the knowledge of professional custodial technicians dedicated to protecting the investment of both privately- and publicly-owned facilities.

The event will include a hands-on demonstration to help attendees understand how to clean with sustainable cleaning chemicals as well as state-of-the-art cleaning equipment displays.

Attendees may also challenge themselves by taking the CMI pre-tests for the "Chemistry of Cleaning" and "Advanced Hard Floor Surface Cleaning" modules.

The $60 cost per participant includes lunch and a certificate of participation issued by Ivey''s Training and Consulting Services and Instructor and President W. Marion Ivey. A prize will also be given to one lucky attendee.
