IICRC CCT Course Release

HONOLULU, HI — The Professional Cleaning Institute of Hawaii (PCIH), in cooperation with the International Executive Housekeeper Association (IEHA) and CRESTEK Cleaning Center, will bring author and consultant Wm R. Griffin to Honolulu, Hawaii, to conduct his two-day, hands-on Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) Certification Course.

Students will use the latest procedures, chemicals and equipment to spot, clean, maintain and restore all types of carpeting found in commercial and residential locations. Attendees will learn to identify fibers, styles and construction methods and learn how they respond to wet and low moisture cleaning and spotting processes. This is a hands-on class where student will learn by doing.

Griffin is a Cleaning Management Institute (CMI) Master Instructor, Cleaning & Maintenance Management Magazine columnist, Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS) Assessor, IICRC carpet and hard floor inspector and the author of over 300 articles and 10 books on cleaning, maintenance and self employment. This course will help prepare participants for advancement on the job or self employment opportunities and to take the IICRC Certification Exam, offered at the end of the second day. College credit for the course will be available through Renton Technical College.
