The IAQA 14th Annual Meeting is being called “The Summit for Healthy Home and Healthy Building Professionals.” The meeting and Indoor Air Expo take place February 15-17, 2011 at the Marriott Rivercenter & San Antonio Convention Center.
Across all sectors of industry, from governmental organizations to grassroots community groups, a renewed and sustained focus on providing healthy homes and healthy buildings to all Americans has gained unprecedented momentum. IAQA has focused squarely on these initiatives. It has an MOU with the National Center for Healthy Housing (NCHH) for training programs and other activities. IAQA is a partner organization and was elected to the Steering Committee of the National Safe and Healthy Housing Coalition (NSHHC). IAQA was named to the Conference Advisory Committee for the 2011 National Healthy Homes Conference - a national event sponsored by HUD in partnership with DOE, USDA, HHS, CDC, and EPA.
These activities provide IAQA a unique perspective on the many interconnected and independent programs designed to foster healthy homes and buildings. For the IAQA 14th Annual Meeting, the association is delivering what it has learned to the membership through a variety of innovative technical sessions and panel discussion featuring renowned educators, industry experts and government officials with whom IAQA has partnered on Healthy Home and Building initiatives. If your career centers on helping to improve indoor environments, this is the one conference of 2011 you simply cannot afford to miss! For more information, visit www.iaqa.org
