WASHINGTON — Washington Hospital Center has reached an agreement with its largest non-medical union, according to the Washington Business Journal.
The hospital and the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 722 agreed on a three-year labor pact in October, the article stated.
According to the article, the new collective bargaining agreement will include a two percent annual raise through June 2014.
The workers also received one-time signing bonuses of $500 for most employees, and 1.5 percent of salary for workers with more than 20 years'' experience, the article noted.
