Hands-free a good bet
PHOENIX, AZ — There may be an answer for those who don''t want to use public restrooms because of the perceived unsanitary conditions of toilet seats, according to The Republic.
Alan Brill, majority owner of Brill Hygienic Products Inc., believes he has the answer with the Brill sanitary toilet seat, the article stated.
According to the article, the device is hands-free and will automatically change a sanitary seat cover for you before each use.
There are several reasons that Brill believes the product to be beneficial, including better protection from germs; easier cleaning and less maintenance because the plastic seat covers do not go into the plumbing; and ease of use because replacement is fast and automatic, the article noted.
Brill credits his own germ phobia for the creation of the device, saying, "Every public bathroom is the United Nations of germs. People throughout the whole country migrate to these restrooms, and you do not know what they are bringing with them."
