GS-42 trainers meeting to be held at ISSA

September 19, 2010
Green Seal’s GS-42 — the environmental leadership standard for cleaning services — has been well-publicized in the cleaning industry, producing strong interest from cleaning services wanting to become GS-42 Certified, as well as groups and persons seeking to become GS-42 Trainers to facilitate implementation. A structure is being developed to provide this training.

Green Seal has prepared a draft GS-42 Trainers’ Guidance Manual, which will be available at a meeting at the upcoming ISSA event in Las Vegas on Tuesday, September 9, from 3 to 4 p.m. in Convention Center Room N232.

The meeting’s purpose will be to solicit input on the document, and involve prospective trainers in shaping the final version.
Seating and space are limited. Please notify Allen Rathey at arathey@jantrain.com, if you plan to attend.

Details about GS-42 are available at www.greenseal.org or call 202-872-6400. Download the standard here: www.greenseal.org/certification/cleaning_services_gs_42.pdf.
