May 21, 2010
ATLANTA — The GREENGUARD Environmental Institute (GEI) is pleased to announce today the appointment of Mark Rossolo as Director of Public Affairs, according to a press release.
In this role, Rossolo will lead GEI''s strategic outreach and advocacy efforts, representing GREENGUARD on the national, state and local levels and campaigning on behalf of the organization to drive public awareness about indoor air quality issues, the release stated.
Rossolo brings a wealth of experience in green building, public policy, and government relations to GEI. Most recently, he managed public outreach and advocacy for the Green Building Initiative (GBI), one of the largest green building organizations in the U.S, the release noted.
"We are thrilled to welcome Mark to the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute," says Henning Bloech, executive director of GEI.
"His experience in the arena of public policy and advocacy is a boon to our organization. I have no doubt that under his leadership, GREENGUARD will make great strides toward bridging the gap between ''green'' construction and healthy indoor air quality."
