GOVERNMENT CAMP, OR — Timothy Lake in the Mt. Hood National Forest is getting a new kind of restroom, according to KGW-TV.
The Oregon State Marine Board has approved a grant to purchase and install a floating restroom, the article stated.
According to the article, the floating restroom, trailer and anchoring system is expected to cost $131,000.
Of that cost, $1,000 will be covered by in-kind contributions; $32,500 will come from Portland General Electric; and $97,500 from a federal grant through the Clean Vessel Act, the article noted.
