First 'Sales Mastery for Restorers' Sales Academy a success

SCHILLER PARK, IL — Restoration contractor salesperson training program "Sales Mastery for Restorers" successfully completed its inaugural two-day Sales Academy on January 21 to a positive response from attendees, according to a press release.
According to the release, the program — the industry''s only year-long sales training program — provided attendees with the tools and concepts to introduce a consultative selling system to their restoration businesses.
Paul Theriault, owner of Bay Area Clean Care, said: "We came to the realization that we don''t know how to sell, especially to a changing marketplace of insurance agents, adjusters and different property management people. After we got here, it was more apparent that while we had all kinds of technical restoration training, we never had the training in sales or marketing. After spending two days here, I''m pretty excited about implementing some of these things. I think it''s something that has the potential of even doubling our business and we''re excited about heading in that direction. I would highly recommend it to anybody."
Attendees also received sales guides, maps and manuals to utilize in their businesses, and will continue to participate in monthly tele-seminars and as-needed consulting, the release stated.
The next Sales Academy session will take place on April 28-29, the release added.
