FEMA reassessing flood damage
PRINCETON, IN — A team of Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) inspectors have decided to take another look at properties damaged by spring flooding and severe storms, according to the Princeton Daily Clarion.
The FEMA team revisited the county at the request of the governor, in order to potentially partner with local emergency management teams to assess storm damage, the article stated.
According to the article, the teams are compiling data to determine whether individual property owners may qualify for federal disaster aid.
Teams from the agency were assessing additional damage from spring storms or damage that wasn''t previously reported, the article noted.
