May 14, 2010 (Fairfax, VA) - Facility Engineering Associates, P.C. is proud to announce its acceptance as a U.S. Green Building Council Education Provider (USGBC EP). Through the teaching of two different courses, FEA will be sharing our knowledge of energy and sustainability. These courses are eligible for Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) continuing education hours that are needed to maintain the LEED Accredited Professional and Green Associate designation.
The workshop, Practical Strategies for Calculating & Reducing Your Carbon Footprint,will introduce participants to the carbon footprint and the elements needed to calculate the footprint for their facilities and their organizations. Sustainability Scorecard: A Roadmap to Sustainability in Existing Buildings is the second workshop being offered. This workshop discusses how to develop a sustainability strategy that aligns with your organization’s mission and most importantly, how to implement that strategy.
