Ex-janitor cleared of charges
WALLA WALLA, WA — A former Walla Walla Regional Airport janitor had been acquitted of possessing methamphetamine (meth), according to the Walla Wall Union-Bulletin.
Elias Alonso, 40, has been cleared of last year''s charges of possession of meth with the intention to sell, the article stated.
According to the article, a Superior Court jury was unable to agree whether or not Alonso was guilty of the charge, which is a felony.
The jury did acquit the former janitor of the lesser charge of possession of a controlled substance, which effectively closed the case, the article noted.
