Kelmann Corporation Continues Support of Men’s Shelter
Wood Dale, IL – Disaster Kleenup International, Inc., North America''s largest disaster restoration contracting organization, today announced that DKI Member Company, Kelmann Corporation, of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, helped provide food and other items to patrons of Milwaukee’s Guest House on Christmas.
The largest publicly funded emergency shelter in Milwaukee, the Guest House provides housing, education, substance abuse treatment and pre-employment preparation for men.
Continuing a company tradition, employees of Kelmann Corporation supplied and served Christmas morning breakfast at Milwaukee’s Guest House. Reminiscent of past Christmas’ , Kelmann provided food and other items needed to produce a complete and healthy meal for nearly 100 homeless men.
This year was made extra special when a terminally ill friend of Kelmann Corporation, Mrs. Mary Boyer, knit 200 winter caps for the men at the shelter. These were presented by her son and granddaughter to the Guest House on Christmas morning.
“The true spirit of Christmas was never more evident than this year,” stated Kelmann Corporations’ owner, Jerry Kelly. “The fact that our team members offer their time and talents to help those less fortunate on Christmas Day reveals much about their heart and decency. And the hats that Mrs. Boyer made were wonderful. Her character and courage is an inspiration to us all.”
Kelmann Corporation has been supporting the shelter by donating clothing and other items of need for more than a decade. For more information regarding the Guest House, please visit www.guesthouseofmilwaukee.org.
