Although cleaning high-touch surfaces is important, district administrators are stressing proper hand hygiene as the best defense against falling ill, the story noted.
In this age of presenteeism, district administrators are encouraging any one feeling sick — students, teachers and support staff — to stay home until their symptoms subside to minimize the spread of infections, the story added.
