DadePaper launches hygiene improvement program for long-term care facilities

MIAMI, FLDadePaper has announced the launch of HyProtection Zone, a program designed to improve housekeeping and hygiene in long-term care facilities, according to a press release.

According to the release, the program will include an interview with facility management and a site inspection to determine product and procedural recommendations to reduce the number of health care acquired illnesses (HAIs).

Additional goals of the program include increased patient satisfaction, risk management, cost control and the meeting of green building goals, the release stated.

Recommendations through the program will focus on hand hygiene, high-touch surface disinfecting, restroom cleaning, floor cleaning, cost control and green cleaning, the release noted.

DadePaper is an independently-owned distributor of food-service disposables, janitorial supplies and equipment and is headquartered in Miami, the release added.
