Custodians fired for false time
THREE OAKS, MI — Three River Valley School District custodians have been fired by the school board after discovering they had falsified timecards, according to The Herald-Palladium.
An internal investigation found what Superintendent Bill Kearney called a "pattern" of excessive breaks taken by Kimberley Sampson, Harlen Heppler and Diana Payne, the article stated.
According to the article, Sampson was fired following a February 27 closed hearing, and Heppler and Payne were fired following a March 1 hearing.
The three custodians had been employed by the district for at least five years, the article noted.
