WYCKOFF, NJ — A Washington Elementary School custodian is being charged with the theft of a school camcorder, according to the Wyckoff Patch.
After school officials reported the $1,200 camcorder missing from a locked cabinet on May 26, the police set up video surveillance, the article stated.
According to the article, the surveillance camera caught Denis S. Vega, a custodian at the school, opening the cabinet and removing another camera.
The police investigation has determined that Vega subsequently sold both cameras for $50, the article noted.
