Custodian accused of theft from city hall
GREENWICH, CT — A part-time Greenwich Town Hall custodian has been arrested on larceny charges, according to the Greenwich Patch.
Diego F. Vallarino, 37, turned himself in to Greenwich Police on Tuesday after police obtained a warrant for his arrest, the article stated.
According to the article, the charges against Vallarino stem from the theft of cash and gift cards from town hall offices.
While Greenwich Police Capt. Mark Marino would not detail what offices in town hall were targeted, "Vallarino had access to the entire building."
Whether Vallarino is still employed by the town hall is unknown, the article noted.
