EAST LONGMEADOW, MA —
Excel Dryer, manufacturer of the
XLERATOR high-speed, energy-efficient hand dryer, and
Sloan Valve, a manufacturer of water-efficient solutions for the plumbing industry, have teamed up to develop a new continuing education course, "Next Generation Green Restroom Design,"
according to a press release.
The course was developed in conjunction with the
U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and is a featured education unit in their new virtual tour program, the release noted.
The Next Generation Green Restroom Design continuing education unit (CEU) course emphasizes how high-efficiency hand dryers and plumbing fixtures can help reduce maintenance and cost while delivering the lowest environmental impact, the release stated.
"The virtual tour and CEU course tells a story about the benefits of sustainable design and creates an infrastructure of green education," said Ashley Katz, communications manager, USGBC.
