RUGS
A full rug cleaning operation will be set up in Station 1 by Dusty Roberts, Luv-a-Rug Services and Clark Lancaster, Orbitec Solutions. In this station attendees can learn how to properly clean and care for oriental and domestic areas rugs in-plant. There will be live demonstrations and expert instruction including:
There will be a full rug cleaning operation set up in one of the demonstration areas. Ellen Amirkhan, CRS and Aaron Groseclose, CRS of the Master Rug Cleaner program will discuss the Ten Skills you need to become a successful rug cleaner. Learn how you can be part of this profitable and growing segment of the cleaning industry.
Then, Ruth Travis and Jeff Bishop, CleanCare Seminars will be presenting hands-on demonstrations of the industry’s newest and most innovative system for Oriental and specialty rug cleaning. CCS instructors will be setting up a complete rug cleaning plant – that’s right, complete plant - in the convention hall. All methods of rug cleaning will be available, with emphasis on total submersion cleaning of high-value Orientals.
Carpet Cleaning
A carpet cleaning operation will be set up in Station 2 using both Commercial and Residential Carpet Products. Cleanco Truckmounts sponsored this area and it will feature instruction on both wet cleaning and dry cleaning methods. Then, you can try the newest and best equipment and tools on the market yourself. Try all of the wands, floor tools and extraction equipment hands-on to see what you like best. Home Carpet Industries provided Shaw Carpet for the hands on opportunity to clean both styles of carpet, residential and commercial carpet. Bridgepoint will supply cleaning products for our attendees to try our. Don’t forget to tryout the various sprayers that will also be available.
Upholstery Cleaning
In our 5-station Upholstery Cleaning Experience, Station 3, our team of experts sponsored by U.S. Products and Hydra Master, will demonstrate and teach the best practices and demonstrate tools for wet and dry cleaning upholstered fabrics. We will have upholstery in each station for you to clean. You will want to try out the newest dry tools and compare them to the old dependable cleaning tools you have on your trucks. Will they help in increasing your production?
Water Damage Restoration
Connections will construct a huge structure (House) in Station 4 to demonstrate expert water damage restoration following the IICRC S500 Standards. This area is sponsored by: TES, Jon-Don, DRYVEX, and DRI-EAZ Products. IICRC approved instructors will be on hand to teach the latest techniques in water damage restoration. We will flood the structure (House) on the first day in the
Contents Restoration
A contents restoration area will be set up Station 5 to demonstrate in-plant cleaning of smoke damage and other items that need restoration following a disaster. Fireline Systems will bring in a full line of cleaning equipment to demonstrate live and teach the techniques to make your operations more successful. See the actual cleaning results while you are attending and compare what you are doing in your operations.
Structural Floor and Wall Drying
Station 6 will feature Injectidry Systems. This station will have both wall and floor components set up and new and inventive drying systems will be demonstrated to show techniques for drying the structure without having to replace components. Attendees will have an opportunity to tryout the latest technology to dry structural components. This station will include wall drying units, floor drying units (wood, tile, and stone). Is there a better way to dry or do structural components need to be replaced?

Mobile Generator Set-Up
Sunbelt Rentals will use the opportunity of drying out our wet structure to teach our attendees how to set up mobile generators on the job site. Safety is always an issue on our job sites and setting up energy for our jobs is crucial in getting the jobs done properly. See the experts set up and operate the huge mobile generators we use on site for restoration projects.
Media Blasting
Grand Northern Products will demonstrate live media blasting baking soda and dry ice. These products are used for fire restoration and mold remediation. This will remove soot, mold, graffiti, masonry cleaning, and historical restoration. These are wide range applications of media for normal cleaning and specialty jobs.
