OAKLAND — In response to the circulation of two strains of influenza viruses this flu season, the
Clorox Company announced they are offering a free
Flu Preparedness & Prevention Educational Kit to professionals in the JanSan and building maintenance industries, according to a
press release.
According to the release, the kit contains informational posters, brochures and checklists teaching flu prevention protocols and is available in a variety of categories to serve different facilities.
The categories available are: Office & Workplace; Mass Transit; Airports & Public Places; Health Clubs; K-12 Schools; Colleges & Universities; and General Use, the release stated.
Clorox also recommended using disinfecting wipes on frequently-touched and shared surfaces as well as hand sanitizer to prevent flu outbreaks, the release stated.
The free kit can be requested or downloaded on the Clorox Professional
website, the release added.
