Cintas Corporation announced that it has named James Johnson as a director, increasing its board to 10 members, according to an
Associated Press story hosted by Forbes.com.
Johnson retired as chief legal officer of
Procter & Gamble in June 2008, the story stated.
With Johnson''s appointment, Cintas'' board now has seven independent directors, the story noted.
After word of the appointment filtered throughout the business world, Cintas'' stock value increased by 30 cents to close at $24.84, the story added.
