CFR’s ECO-Chemical Line Certified by EPA’s Design for the Environment Program
Chicago, IL - The CFR brand of carpet extractors announces that its line of ECO-Chemicals, chemicals specifically formulated for CFR carpet extractors, have been recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under their Design for the Environment (DfE) Program for their safer chemistry formulations.
The CFR (or Continuous Flow Recycling) technology is unique in the carpet cleaning industry because it recycles and filters water/solution.
This process allows the different CFR models to consume just one seventh the amount of water and chemical used by conventional extractors. This recycling process makes CFR machines Greener and more sustainable while also improving worker productivity.
“The DfE label on our chemicals is very important,” says Doug Berjer, CFR Brand Manager. “It enables cleaning professionals and other end-customers to quickly identify and choose products that can help protect the environment.”
The ECO-Chemical line along with the CFR carpet extractors will be on display at the upcoming ISSA/INTERCLEAN North America® tradeshow in Orlando, November 9-12, 2010.
